Spring Bank Holiday Monday was anything but Springlike, being grey and cold, but undaunted we set off for Bexhill. We went to see Critical Mass an installation by Anthony Gormley, on the roof of the De La Warr Pavilion. The figures are not as dramatic as the ones shown last year in London. They are prone figures and quite close together. It is also irritating to see other people among the figures. I suppose that we were quite lucky that, as the weather was not great, it was not too crowded on the roof. We did have an excellent lunch in the restaurant and a stroll along the promenade, so it was a good afternoon out!
